Why free?

This project was developed during leisure time by programmers and traders. Each of us has a primary job and does not want to make any commercial use of it. We believe that every private trader should have the same resources as the big ones in the industry.

Can I join?

Of course, any savvy programmer who can deal with MQL4 or even traders with long-term profitable strategies can participate. Please send an email to request@free-expert-advisor.com with a description of what knowledge and experience you can bring.

Where can I get a key from?

After creating an active live and demo account with IC Markets, we will receive a confirmation from IC Markets. However, this requires logging in through a link through this home page so IC Markets can map their accounts to us. Only then we may create an individual key for you.

Do I have to re-enter the key every time?

No. Only the first time an Expert Advisor is started, the key must be entered. This is then saved.

Can I use the key for other accounts as well?

Each key is bound to the account number, but can be used for all programs offered on this homepage.

Can I use the Expert Advisor with another broker?

No. Due to the large number of brokers and the cooperation with IC Markets, we offer our software only for customers of IC Markets who have an activated live and demo account. Each Expert Advisor is customized and optimized for this broker and its terms. In addition, IC Markets explicitly allows the use of Expert Advisor and offers customers unbeatable terms. This only allows us to make sure that everything works as it should.

Can I get the source code on request?

No. It has been a lot of work to realize these projects. If suggestions and wishes exist, you can send them to request@free-expert-advisor.com.

Sind die Expert Advisor nur für den Meta Trader 4 verfügbar?

Yes. Only the Meta Trader 4 is supported. Only the Expert Advisor Builder is the exception.

How do I unpack the Expert Advisor?

To unzip the file please use the free program 7-Zip.

How do I install an Expert Advisor?

1. Step

Open the Meta Trader 4 and click on “Open File Folder” under “File”.

2. Step

Open the Meta Trader 4 and click on “Open File Folder” under “File”.

3. Step

Click on the “Experts” folder

(if you want to use the included import or export data, open the “Files” folder and move the files to this folder.)

4. Step

Move the downloaded .ex4 file of the Expert Advisor into this folder.

5. Step

Go back to Meta Trader 4 and open a chart of your choice.

6. Step

Activate the “AutoTrading”. This can be found in the top menu bar of the Meta Trader.

7. Step

If necessary, update the navigator with “Right-click -> Update” to the entry “Expert”.

8. Step

By another right-click on the Expert Advisor you want to use, you can apply it to the open chart.

9. Step

Optionally, the Expert Advisor can be set under the tab “Inputs”.

10. Step

Click “OK” to start the Expert Advisor.

11. Step

Check the status of the Expert Advisor with the smiley face and enjoy trading!
